- • Measure your athlete's chest at the fullest point, under the arms, keeping the tape level. Match to the chart.
- • Jerseys are worn over a shirt and should move freely — if your athlete is between sizes or mid-growth-spurt, size up.
- • Best test: measure a jersey or tank they already own flat across the chest (armpit to armpit × 2) and compare.
- • Taller, leaner athlete? Pick by length so the jersey stays tucked or covered at the waistband.
- • The Official Yellow Jersey Set is required for every player; Grey players need the Grey set too. Size questions — ask at the Sunday parent meeting before the 9/22 deadline.

Does my child really need basketball shoes?
Yes — but they don't need to be expensive. Basketball shoes have flat, grippy outsoles and ankle support for lateral cuts and jump stops that running shoes don't have; running shoes are built for straight-ahead motion and are a rolled-ankle risk on court. A $25-$40 kids' pair from Academy, Shoe Carnival or Ross is completely fine for this age. What matters is fit, grip and a flat sole — not the logo.
How do I choose the right youth basketball shoe?
For 1st-4th grade: a lightweight low-to-mid top with good traction — skip heavy signature shoes. For 5th-6th grade and up: a mid-top with a firm heel counter for hard cuts. Always try them on with basketball socks, leave a thumb's width of toe room, and have your athlete do a jump stop and side shuffle in the aisle. What size jersey should I order for my child?
Match your athlete's chest measurement to the jersey size chart on this page. Jerseys run over a shirt and should move freely — between sizes, size up, especially mid-growth-spurt. If you're unsure, the safest move is to measure a jersey or tank they already own and compare. Coaches can also confirm sizes at Sunday practice before the order deadline.
Which gear is required, and which is optional?
The Official Yellow Jersey Set ($40) is required for every player. The Official Grey Jersey Set ($40) is additionally required for Stingers Grey players and optional for everyone else. Shooting shirts, backpacks, hoodies and jumpsuits are optional. Anything marked 'Required' in the catalog must be on your order.
Youth or adult size — how do I decide?
Youth sizes (YXS-YXL) fit most players through about age 12. Once your athlete's chest passes about 33-34 inches, or a YXL is snug, move to Adult Small. The order form lets you pick youth or adult fit on items that come in both, with the adult price shown.
How do I pay for my order?
Submit the order form, then send payment on Cash App to $Stingers210 with '[Player Name] - [Item]' in the note (for example: 'Bryson Banda - Yellow Jersey Set'). You'll get a PDF receipt by email after submitting. Order forms are due 9/22 end of day and payment is due Friday 9/25 by 5:00 PM.
Can we exchange if the size is wrong?
Because this is a final overseas bulk order, exchanges are limited to what we have in stock. That's why measuring first matters — use the charts on this page, ask a coach at Sunday practice, or bring it up at the parent meeting before you submit.
